Zweite Sparkasse supports people in difficult financial situations on their way to a life without debt.
Zweite Sparkasse supports people who are experiencing financial difficulties. The aim is to help them get their financial lives back on track and manage their money successfully. All Zweite Sparkasse customers are referred and supported by NGOs. Zweite Sparkasse offers them a current account without an overdraft facility, insurance and personal advice and support. Single parents and young adults in particular can benefit from financial education via online training. A deposit loan makes it easier to rent an apartment, while financing for future-oriented education contributes to greater independence. An »assisted account« is also offered in conjunction with the debt counselling association.
The ERSTE Foundation provided the initial capital for Zweite Sparkasse, a not-for-profit bank that is committed to the public-interest philosophy of the savings banks and is run exclusively by volunteers.
