Alles Clara
Alles Clara offers free counselling for people who provide care to their loved ones. Professional counsellors are available via a secure app to support those seeking advice on current issues and challenging situations.
One in eight people in Austria regularly supports relatives, friends or neighbours in their daily lives. Most family caregivers suffer from high levels of stress themselves; many reduce their hours at work or even quit their jobs to care for their loved ones.
Alles Clara helps to relieve the burden experienced by care-giving relatives. The free app connects them with professional counsellors, i.e., certified nursing staff, clinical psychologists and psychotherapists with many years of experience. Those seeking advice receive support and encouragement through easily accessible, accurate information and emotional support. For the counsellors, new tasks arise that complement their existing professional field and provide opportunities for job enrichment.
In 2020, we joined forces with Caritas, Diakonie, Hilfswerk, Rotes Kreuz, Samariterbund, Volkshilfe and Karl Landsteiner University to launch Alles Clara. Together with the public sector, the care and health industries and many employers, we are working to provide free access for everyone in Austria.
