Franz Erhard Walther, who was honored with a Golden Lion for his life’s work at the Venice Art Biennale in 2017, completed his most recent “Gesamt-Kunstwerk” for the Erste Campus just a few weeks ago.
To celebrate this, the Kontakt Collection and the ERSTE Foundation are pleased to invite you to a performance “Das Ökonomieballett (The Economy Ballet)” by Franz Erhard Walther with a spatial work by Peter Kogler at the Atrium of the Erste Campus on Tuesday, 28 January 2020, at 6pm.
Franz Erhard Walther’s works are an integral part of the art in architecture (Kunst am Bau) project at the Erste Campus. His work Dreizehn Handlungsformen consists of variously hued pieces displayed on the walls of the office levels at the Erste Campus.
The upcoming performance, which involves 26 Erste Group employees, will activate and stage the “Work Pieces” (Werkstücke) that he developed for the Campus. Accompanying his performance will be a sound work by Matthieu Saladin as well as a new spatial work by Peter Kogler, who numbers among Austria’s most important present-day artists.
The performance will last one hour.
