In the Communications team, we convey ERSTE Foundation's philanthropic work and its role as a shareholder of Erste Group. Transparency is key! We tell stories from the projects we support and find our way through the jungle of constantly changing media channels. One of my personal passions is the annual report! In my other role as Head of Media and Journalism Programmes, I care about a healthy media ecosystem.

Having been a cultural journalist myself at the start of my career, I have been doing PR for major cultural events in a senior role since 1996. This journey has taken me from documenta X and the EXPO 2000 world exhibition to ERSTE Foundation in 2007.

I am a big fan of Hans Rosling's work. He showed us that, globally speaking, people's lives are constantly changing for the better. We often just don't realise it! Good communication can bring hope and trust without ignoring the problems.
