Together with my team, I’m responsible for ensuring that the foundation »works«. We take care of things in the background, such as organisation, IT, law, budget, controlling, etc. In addition, I focus on the foundation's second main task of being a core shareholder of Erste Group.

I’ve held a wide variety of management positions at Erste Group since 1991: Capital Markets, Investor Relations, Executive Board Secretariat, Strategy Department. In addition, I have always been responsible for the refinancing of ERSTE Foundation. In 2016, I moved to the foundation and have been a member of the Managing Board since 2021.

When I renovated my house, I installed a photovoltaic system and built a 3,000-litre rainwater cistern. Every time I water my garden in the summer with rainwater and the solar-powered pump, it makes me happy and I think to myself: what is possible on a small scale can also work on a large scale.
