Gender Issues in ERSTE Foundation Programmes
The preparatory research and the Gender Check exhibition form ERSTE Foundation’s largest single project on the interdisciplinary theme of gender. The initiative is part of the PATTERNS research programme, which initiates and commissions contemporary arts projects in an international context.
Other projects target sociological research. Gender in Transition is a study project on gender research that was put out to tender by ERSTE Foundation in 2009. A publication will present case studies from nine countries on topics such as nursing and care-giving, single parenting, homelessness, media and pop culture, sexual minorities, and historical feminism.
